In the summer, lobstermen are really busy. The main lobstering season lasts throughout late spring, summer, and early fall.
In the winter and late fall, most
lobstermen do not participate in winter lobstering,
which is hard work, requiring
larger boats and extended travelling.
Some lobstermen take other jobs during this time to supplement their income.
Construction is one such popular industry on Cliff Island.

their buoys.
