The story of Captain Keiff was he was one of the first settlers on this island and he was a really bad pirate and he would take a lantern and then he would go around these areas of Stinky Beach and lure (at nighttime, of course) and take the lantern and make it think it was like a dock, but they would crash into the bluffs, and so, he would take all the gold, and he would kill all the survivors and take all the gold or treasure, if they even had treasure.
There was a place where he was buried called Keiff’s Garden, and it’s over near there (I’m on Stinky Beach) and he died a long time ago and supposedly the victims he killed were buried where he was buried, but I don’t know about that. So, on Halloween night, he is supposed to show up around these areas. I think that’s just a story to scare people, but it might be real. I’ve heard noises on Stinky Beach on Halloween night.
